Also known as: Beleg Strongbow
A great Sindarin archer of Doriath and the closest friend of Turin Turambar. Beleg tracked Turin across Beleriand out of loyalty and love. He carried the black sword Anglachel. Tragically, when Beleg found Turin captive among Orcs and cut his bonds, Turin awoke in confusion and slew Beleg, mistaking him for an enemy. It was one of the great tragedies of the First Age.
