Also known as: The Star Of Elendil, The Star Of The North
The Elendilmir, the Star of Elendil, was a white gem bound upon the brow within a silver fillet, worn by the kings of Arnor in place of a crown as the token of their royalty. The first was brought by Elendil out of the wreck of Numenor; lost with Isildur at the Gladden Fields, it was replaced by a second made for Valandil his heir. That second star passed down through all the Chieftains of the Dunedain to Aragorn, who wore it when he came at last as king into the North-kingdom of his fathers.
