Also known as: King Of Gondolin
Son of Fingolfin and founder of the Hidden City of Gondolin, the greatest and most beautiful of the Elven kingdoms of Beleriand. Following a vision from Ulmo, Turgon built Gondolin in the hidden valley of Tumladen, modeled after Tirion in Valinor. The city remained hidden for nearly four hundred years until Maeglin's betrayal revealed it to Morgoth. Turgon fell in the sack of Gondolin when his tower was overthrown. He was the father of Idril Celebrindal and grandfather of Earendil.
