Rhosgobel

Rhosgobel was the lonely dwelling of Radagast the Brown, the wizard who loved birds and beasts, set on the western eaves of Mirkwood near the Gladden Fields and the Carrock. From this house among the woods Radagast roamed, gathering the lore of herbs and the speech of animals; it was there that Gandalf hoped to find him in the days before the Council of Elrond, and the birds and beasts that served Radagast carried tidings far and wide.
