Also known as: The Falls Of Rauros
The golden-misted falls where the Anduin plunges from Nen Hithoel toward the wetlands of Nindalf, impassable to any boat. At its head the Fellowship was broken; over its rim they sent Boromir's funeral boat with his sword on his breast and the cloven horn at his side. The falls bore him down in honor, and men of Gondor say the boat was seen passing Osgiliath, riding the river to the sea.
