Also known as: The Pillars Of The Kings, The Gates Of Argonath
The Pillars of the Kings: two colossal stone likenesses of Isildur and Anárion, left hands raised in warning, carved into the cliffs of the Anduin to mark the ancient northern bound of Gondor. The Fellowship passed between them in their small boats, dwarfed beneath the silent stone gaze — and for a moment Aragorn the wanderer sat straight and unafraid, a king returning to his own.
