Also known as: The Hill Of Sight, The Seat Of Seeing
The Hill of Sight above the western shore of Nen Hithoel, crowned by the Seat of Seeing built by the kings of old, from which the lands lay open to the eye for leagues in every direction. There the Fellowship broke: Boromir tried to take the Ring, Frodo sat upon the Seat wearing it and felt the Eye searching for him, and he and Sam went east alone. On its slopes Boromir died defending Merry and Pippin, and there Aragorn made the choice that led the Three Hunters across Rohan.
