Also known as: Mindolluin
Mount Mindolluin was the great mountain at the eastern end of the White Mountains, against whose knees the City of Minas Tirith was built, its lowest spur thrust out as the rock upon which the Citadel stood. Upon its high hidden slopes, after his crowning, Aragorn climbed with Gandalf and found a sapling of the White Tree, sprung from the ancient line, and bore it down to plant in the Court of the Fountain in place of the withered Tree.
