The last remnant of Beleriand west of the Blue Mountains, and the realm of Gil-galad, the last High King of the Noldor, in the Second Age. After Gil-galad's death in the war of the Last Alliance, Círdan the Shipwright kept Lindon and the Grey Havens, from which the Elves take ship into the West. It is the oldest enduring Elvish realm in Middle-earth.
