Also known as: King Bain, Bain Son Of Bard
Bain was the son of Bard the Bowman and the second King of Dale after his father, ruling the restored city beneath the Lonely Mountain in close friendship with the Dwarves of Erebor. He strengthened the realm in the long years of peace; and his own son, Brand, ruled after him and stood with the Dwarves against Sauron's armies out of the East in the War of the Ring.
