Angbor, called the Fearless, was the lord of Lamedon, a fief in the vales of the White Mountains in southern Gondor. When the Grey Company and Aragorn passed through his land with the Dead following at their heels, Angbor alone among his folk had the courage to stand and parley with the King; and at Aragorn's bidding he gathered what men he could and marched east to the war, coming up the Anduin to add his strength to the host that relieved Minas Tirith.
