Lothiriel was the daughter of Prince Imrahil of Dol Amroth. In the days of renewal that followed the War of the Ring she wedded Eomer, King of Rohan, and became Queen of the Mark; their son Elfwine the Fair ruled after his father. Through her the royal house of Rohan was joined to the high and ancient blood of Dol Amroth, with its strain of Numenorean and Elvish lineage.
