Also known as: The Druadan Forest, The Wood Of The Woses
The Druadan Forest was an old wood upon the northern slopes of the White Mountains in eastern Anorien, the last refuge of the Druedain, the Wild Men or Woses -- a shy and ancient people, skilled hunters who carved the watchful Pukel-men of stone. In the War of the Ring their headman Ghan-buri-Ghan led the Riders of Rohan by secret forest paths around the watch of the Enemy, so that the host of the Mark came unlooked-for to the relief of Minas Tirith.
