Frodo and Sam looked into it; Sam saw the trees of the Shire falling and was nearly drawn home, and Frodo saw the Eye. The Mirror is dangerous as a guide of deeds, Galadriel warned, for the visions may never come to pass except by the abandoning of the path taken to prevent them.
