Otho Sackville-Baggins

Otho Sackville-Baggins was the husband of Lobelia and the father of Lotho, and head of the grasping Sackville-Baggins branch of the family that long coveted Bag End and its master's wealth. Had Bilbo died without an heir, Bag End would have passed to Otho; instead Bilbo adopted Frodo, to the lasting resentment of Otho and Lobelia. He died before the War of the Ring, leaving his ambitions to his son Lotho, who pursued them to the Shire's near-ruin.
