Master of Visions and Dreams, brother of Mandos, and keeper of the gardens of Lorien in Valinor (after which the forest of Lothlorien in Middle-earth is named). The Maiar Olorin (Gandalf) often walked in his gardens before being sent to Middle-earth. His spouse is Este the Gentle, healer of hurts and weariness.
