The Champion of the Valar, the last of the Valar to enter Arda, and the strongest in bodily might. Tulkas came to Arda specifically to aid in the war against Melkor, and his arrival turned the tide of the first great battle. He wrestled Melkor and cast him down when the Valar captured him before the awakening of the Elves. Tulkas delights in feats of strength and contests, and he laughs in the face of evil. His spouse is Nessa.
