Also known as: Son Of Fundin, Lord Of Moria
One of the oldest and wisest of Thorin's company, and the Dwarf most friendly to Bilbo. He later led an ill-fated expedition to reclaim Moria (Khazad-dum), establishing a colony there. He was slain by Orcs after five years. The Fellowship discovered his tomb in the Chamber of Mazarbul, along with the harrowing chronicle of the colony's end.
