Also known as: The River-Daughter
The wife of Tom Bombadil, called the River-daughter, apparently the spirit of the River Withywindle. She is fair and golden-haired, and her presence fills Tom's house with light and song. She hosted the hobbits with great kindness during their stay. Her origins are as mysterious as Tom's own nature.
