A Maia of Ulmo, Osse is the vassal of the Lord of Waters who governs the coastal seas and the islands. He delights in storms and is fierce and unpredictable. Morgoth once tried to seduce him to evil with promises of dominion over the sea, and Osse was briefly drawn to his service before Uinen calmed him and he returned to his allegiance to Ulmo.
